Head of Business Development
Supported by our Chief Growth Officer, we are looking to establish a Head of Business Development focusing on growing our reach in Scotland. You will be responsible for establishing Haulogis within your existing client base, as well as developing new opportunities, from initial contact right through to engagement.
What experience you’ll need
- Demonstrating a passionate and deep understanding of the tech world we operate in, where the challenges and opportunities are for Haulogis, and our clients.
- Building solid and meaningful relationships with senior business leaders and client leadership teams by helping them solve their digital delivery challenges through Haulogis services.
- Coaching, mentoring and supporting the growth of our Business Development Managers through regular 1-1’s and ongoing personal development plans.
- Taking the lead from the initial contract through to closing an opportunity, working independently and as part of a small team to deliver complex bids for some of the UK’s most established brands.
- Establishing a strong brand presence in the key regions in which we operate, working closely with our Client Partnership and Marketing teams.
- Establishing strong working relationships with the expertise across the Haulogis disciplines, ensuring the go-to-market strategy and proposition bring out the best of the brand.
Requirements
- Min of 6 years’ experience in an high pace outbound targeted sales environment.
- The individual needs to be data driven, in being able to spot opportunities and trends and need to be able to roll out new processes and able to elevate them, with key stake holders internal and external.
- Dynamic people leader with experience of managing data effectively for maximum output.
- Ability to build and develop a high-flying team.
- Proven track record of building a team environment to be successfully and accountable in what they do.
- High level confidence in making presentations and delivering at senior level or at events.
- Organisation skills and attention to detail is key, along with strong people management skills and relationship skills and time management.
- The person must want to make a different in the industry and must want to create the best team.
- Experienced with CRM software and tracking personal performance.
- Flexible approach to resolving problems and task management.
- Strong complaint resolution and customer care skills.
- Exceptional follow up skills.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of over 1,000 clients across 30 countries. You will work closely with their CTO, ensuring that all software meets or exceeds quality standards. Working on exciting and challenging projects, collaborating with directors and management. You’ll be involved in testing and demoing new features and modules to the team, reviewing code and providing feedback to other developers. A key part of the role will be to help shape and grow a team along with their CTO, building a great future for the business and having your say in technical direction too.
